Death target mechanic made for some fun moments. Gameplay is smooth.

Really fun game. Simple mechanics but executed well and displayed cutely. I wish it was a little more clear that the number of "hops" was shown at the top. I figured it out after a minute, but yeah.

I know this is an old project, but going to review it like any other.

I quite enjoy the premise of the story, and the controls were smooth. I do wish there was more reason to utilize the wave slash, perhaps something like an enemy that is hard to get close to. Would also be helpful if there were more onscreen instructions for the upgrades.

Also would've been rad to have some kind of more cinematic ending, even just an illustration of the sword, or the knight falling into a pit after.

This plays like a proof of concept for an epic modern Astyanax clone, which I am a huge fan of.

I agree on what you say. Some ideas were left out. But I really wanted to just finish it.

The game feels pretty smooth. I think it would be more fun if the enemies were less chaotic and more organized in challenging patterns.

I really like the idea of having two variations on the same game. Liked this one as well. 63 ticks! Thanks for the game.

Great game, I came back to it several times to finish it. The bonus level was a little infuriating, mostly because the laser occasionally hits buttons weirdly. In previous levels you can take your time to finesse your angle, but having to work around that on the bonus level was frustrating.

Thank you. I am glad you liked it. The bonus level frustrates me too however I know it was originally designed to be evil. I was initially against it, but then we agreed together to add it as an extra level and see how players will react to it. If we plan to keep or add more levels of these type, we will keep them as extras that can be ignored. Also we are exploring how to enhance the controls to decrease the frustration.

Great game. I loved it. The execution and pacing is nice. It starts to feel really stagnant around the 5 digit mark (for the average base value of the paintings). I wish there was more control over upgrades, and possibly some more interesting ways to tweak your ants/art to the preference of the market. Maybe a part 2?

I liked the simplicity and the graphics. It took me a minute to figure out where the tower's health was.
