Keep it rollin man :) you gonna keep running with this one?
By the way, one trick you can use to speed things up if you do, is to copy+paste animations you use a lot (possibly even make them into graphic symbols so you can just drag + drop them on stage). Good example is stickman running animation - if he's just running across the screen, no need to animate it over and over again.

Good Advice! I use that method already but thanks for telling me thats actually da way tu du it xD
Thanks for being the 1st one here
Thanks man!

This was pretty neat. You've got a knack for stop motion. I think there are two main things you could improve on.

1. Production quality - it already looks pretty good, but try to use a tripod (preferably with a remote shutter) to prevent camera movement, and also make sure your lighting is consistent by using manual exposure and keeping uninvolved shadows off your set.

2. Pacing - the joke was good at first, but I think it took far too long to get into the action. There wasn't enough substance to the joke for it to go on that long.

These are meant as constructive criticism - I did quite like the animation. I love stop motion in general! Following you :)

Sweet test. It looks really smooth. How many frames was that? Looks like about 24? And yeah, cotton is amazing. If you don't look closely you don't really notice it, but it's in like every single stop motion film since the dawn of time.

Wow. That's a lot of work you put in there. Pretty ambitious for sure. I agree with what you said about it but the quality of animation is also just really great in some parts. Hoping to see more from you at some point.

Yep, probably too much work for such a poorly thought out concept though, ha ha.

I don't know what your experience as an animator but this sort of thing is more suited for the dumping grounds to display on forums and show to people as a stepping stone to a more serious attempt at animation. Keep at it though.

I'm new to posting stuff on here so I have no idea what the dumping grounds is about, other than it was the foster home where tracy beaker took place :p

Interesting idea!

I wasn't sure where the animation was going at first but it ended up being interesting. Great idea! Cute, short, and pretty smooth animation - I liked it.

Matija27 responds:

Glad you liked it :)

Never give up. Never surrender.
