Possible bug: sometimes I randomly stop and lose my speed, as if I've hit something, but there was nothing there. Happens mid air and on the ground. Also to that end, I think you should make it impossible for bats to spawn too high - can't even see them on the backdrop at the top, so it's not really fair to bump into them up there. Or maybe invert their color when they go too high? I dunno. Anyway, decent game, hope you continue to update it.

Great game, well polished and fun concept. 5/5. I loved that there were so many alternate ways you can win levels. For example...

*SPOILER*

For the ghost pipe levels you can just park your ghost right at the top of the flag. 100% of the time he jumps into you and you get 3 stars.

oohh you found out that one. yep there are many solutions in other levels

Cool game, but I found a glitch. If you encounter a boss, die, revive via glyph, then fight another room and win, it clears the boss and gives you the loot.

Pretty cool. Great concept. No real criticism, looking forward to seeing where you take it. It's on a great track. One thing I would like to see I guess is more reason to visit other rooms - right now you can just sit in the hallway outside the 3d printing room and stock up on boards, then rush to fix something if it happens. You don't need to actually move around the ship. I think it would also be more interesting if the ship went to shit really fast - so you start out fine and then have to rush around and make decisions on what's more important. Also random malfunctions could be interesting, i.e. warning system offline for a minute, electronic lock on circuit storage is jammed, door to hazmat suit is stuck - things of that nature. Just to make the game a little more hectic.

This game gives me serious Kirby vibes. I like it. I think having upgrades is nice, but it would feel more impactful if you had a limited number of upgrade points and you got them for completing levels, rather than spending currency. This way, once the game is complete, you can go back through with "max" potential stats.

Okay, I'm going to review this twice, once as a sequel and once as a standalone game. Also, minor spoiler alert.

Sequel rating: 2.5 stars. This is a mediocre sequel. It is barely different from the first other than minor changes and new graphics. Different story and some different spells is nice, but all in all it is the same game with a smaller skill tree and some flashy add-ons.

Standalone rating: 4 stars. Great game nonetheless. Adjustable difficulty was a must because the game is just as disappointingly easy as the first one - I had to play at max difficulty after the first few levels to get any fun out of it. I love that maxing skills gives you special bonuses, and I love that you get free respecs. Wish there were more boss fights and more interesting enemies. I get the need for support with premium content but it's a bit lame and just comes off as needy. Best feature = the art. Worst feature = the overall unevolving gameplay.

Great game. Slow levels, but fun. Only other gripe is that it was too easy, especially once you get the range upgrade. Max ranged Jav + a bunch of farmers = unstoppable. Didn't need any other units...

Never give up. Never surrender.
